12 Kindness Quotes for Kids

Every day we have opportunities to be kind whether it is to a family member, classmate, friend, or stranger. We hope these quotes provide inspiration for kindness and compassion toward others. Use them in your classroom or at home to reflect on what they mean to you and how we can continue to be kind to others every day.

You can also help your child or students illustrate kindness by creating projects such as:

  • A kindness jar with ideas of things you can do for others.

  • Drawing an image to illustrate the quote and what it means to them.

  • Writing compliment notes to others.

  • Reading positive affirmations out loud to practice being kind to themselves.

  • Discover over a dozen printables in our free app Wisdom: The World of Emotions (iOS, Android) that help kids practice additional skills such as empathy and self-compassion.
