Parents and caregivers who are subscribed to Bright by Text’s free text messaging services now have access to a collection of parenting tips and practice activities designed by Better Kids to foster their young children’s social-emotional learning skills.
SAN FRANCISCO — Each year, hundreds of thousands of parents and caregivers of children prenatal to age nine make the most of everyday interactions thanks to Bright by Text’s nationwide free text messaging service. Through free tips, information, games, and resources, Bright by Text is proven to build nurturing caregiver-child relationships, strengthen families, promote healthy child development, and improve school readiness.
Now, parents and caregivers can explore a variety of social emotional learning tips and activities for children ages 4-8 from Better Kids through Bright by Text’s free text messaging service. This new set of resources includes tips and activities such as learning how to create space for big feelings at home, practicing asking for help, and fun “would you rather” questions. With actionable tips, parents and caregivers are given the tools they need to support their children in reaching important milestones in their social emotional development. These resources are available in English and Spanish, ensuring parents and caregivers of many backgrounds can nurture their children’s healthy development.
